Suspect Arrested for Stealing Garbage Bag Full of Nike Gear at New Rochelle Clothing Store

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – On Friday, December 8th, the New Rochelle Police Department responded to a robbery report at Snipes Clothing, located at 440 North Avenue. The incident occurred around 2:30 pm.

According to the store manager, three suspects filled a garbage bag with Nike clothing and fled the store.

One suspect pushed the manager while escaping. Witnesses assisted the police by noting the suspects’ car’s license plate.

Collaborative efforts involving the Westchester County Police Real Time Crime Center, Yonkers Police, and Mount Vernon Police led to the capture of the suspects.

The arrested individuals are Richard Bailey, Charles Moye, and Curtis Thompson, facing charges of robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.
