Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Glen Burnie, Seek Public’s Help

Glen Burnie, MD – A shooting in Glen Burnie has prompted a police investigation after a home was damaged. The incident occurred on January 26, at approximately 8:35 p.m., in the 300 block of Highland Drive.

According to witnesses, gunfire was heard, followed by the sighting of a black truck and a silver sedan leaving the area in an unspecified direction. While responding officers discovered damage to a home in the vicinity, there were no reported injuries from the incident. Investigators found several spent shell casings at the scene, adding to the evidence collected.

The Eastern District detectives are actively investigating the shooting and are appealing to the public for any information. Community members with knowledge about the incident, the vehicles involved, or any other relevant details are encouraged to contact the police at 410-222-6145.
