Elderly Man Assaulted at Jackson Heights Subway Station

Jackson Heights, NY – In a disturbing incident at the Jackson Heights – Roosevelt Avenue subway station on the “E” line, a 70-year-old man was aggressively shoved to the ground by an unidentified assailant. The attack occurred on Thursday, February 15, at around 11:40 AM, near the emergency exit gate of the station.

Authorities reported that the elderly victim sustained cuts and bruises to the head as a result of the fall. Emergency responders treated him at the scene. Despite the injuries, the victim chose not to seek further medical treatment.

The suspect, still at large, is described as a male with a dark complexion, believed to be in his 40s. Police are seeking information from witnesses or anyone with knowledge about the incident to apprehend the individual responsible.
