TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that occurred in Essex early on Sunday, March 3. The incident took place in the 200 block of Back River Neck Rd, where a 2016 Toyota Corolla veered off the road and collided with a pole.
The driver, identified as 64-year-old Barry Stokes, was rushed to a nearby hospital following the accident. Unfortunately, Stokes was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Baltimore County Crash Team has taken up the investigation to ascertain the cause of the crash. Further details will be disclosed as the inquiry progresses.
