ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.- The Atlantic City Police Department has confirmed the arrest of Francisco Bonilla, 34, from Atlantic City, on charges related to the attempted homicide of a convenience store employee.

The arrest was made on March 4 in Vineland, NJ, by the Vineland Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit. This action follows an attack that took place on February 3, where Bonilla is accused of stabbing a convenience store employee in an unprovoked assault.

The incident, which occurred early in the morning, left the 39-year-old victim with severe, life-threatening injuries, necessitating immediate transport to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division.

Detective Malik Tolbert is leading the ongoing investigation into this incident.
