Arrest Made in Connection with Fatal Hoboken Shooting

Hoboken, NJ- A North Bergen man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Hoboken on Sunday, April 28. Albert Morales, 33, faces charges of Murder, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of Weapon. He was apprehended in Chicopee, Massachusetts on Tuesday, April 30.

On Sunday, shots were reported around 11:30 p.m. near 320 Marshall Drive in Hoboken. Damon Murray, 21, of Hoboken, was found outside the building with a gunshot wound. He later passed away at Jersey City Medical Center just after midnight on Monday.

The charges against Albert Morales are currently allegations, and he will remain in custody pending extradition to New Jersey.
