Trump To Make Official Campaign Play for New Jersey in 2024 Election

by Conservative Times

WILDWOOD, NJ – New Jersey is officially in play. After losing to Joe Biden by nearly 800,000 votes in 2020, President Donald J. Trump said he will ‘officially play in New Jersey and win the state of New Jersey’.

In 2020, Trump’s campaign bypassed New Jersey due to demographics and voting history.

But after six years of Governor Phil Murphy, decades of Democratic control, high taxes compounding national inflation, increased energy costs, a gas car ban, offshore wind farms, and a radical left agenda by state Democrats, Trump feels he can now win New Jersey.

“Here in New JErsey, you’re suffering from some of the highest sales taxes and property taxes in America,” Trump said.

The last time a Republican won New Jersey was President George H.W. Bush in 1988, defeating Michael Dukakis.

“I love New Jersey, I’m here all the time,” the former President said.

Trump mocked New Jersey bail reform, saying, ‘Nobody gets bail, but I would get bail,”

He added that vacations at the Jersey Shore were once a luxury everyone considered, but with Biden’s rising inflation, they can no longer afford them.

“New Jerseyans have lost $23,000 a year to the Biden inflation tax,” he said, ” and It Takes an additional $1,000 from the pockets of New Jersey families every month.”
