STAFFORD COUNTY, VA—The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has responded to two vandalism incidents this past weekend, resulting in significant property damage and legal actions.
The first incident occurred early on Saturday, May 27, 2024, at 2:42 AM on Limestone Way. Deputy M.N. Sayegh was called to the scene where a vehicle was reported to have been vandalized with paint. The act was recorded on camera, showing the vehicle receiving an unwanted paint job.
A second act of vandalism was reported on Sunday, May 28, 2024, at 7:41 PM on Bunker Lane. Deputy L.T. Ward responded to the disturbance, where a family dispute escalated into property damage. The victim reported that a family member, upset over having her cell phone service suspended as punishment for not doing the dishes, broke multiple glass items within the home. A permitted warrant for destruction of property was subsequently obtained.
