Police were called to the scene to address reports of an intoxicated individual causing disturbances. Barnes was initially detained without incident by the officers. Despite his aggressive behavior, Barnes was eventually secured and placed in a police vehicle without further complications.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the altercation. Barnes has been charged with three counts of assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of obstruction of justice, and one count of public intoxication. He is currently being held without bond, awaiting a court date to face these charges.
