OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Simon Elliot Farino, 20, of Ocean County, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in a domestic violence case. Farino was booked into the Ocean County Jail on July 24, and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
The charges stem from an incident involving aggravated assault in a domestic violence context. Authorities have not provided any further information on the incident.
Farino said the assault was sparked by being misgendered by a healthcare worker during an evaluation.
