Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect in May Southeast District Shooting

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a May 6 shooting in the city’s Southeast District. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Christopher Boykin, was taken into custody on August 10.

The incident occurred on the 500 block of North Curley Street, where Boykin allegedly shot a 25-year-old male victim. Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified Boykin as the shooter and secured an arrest warrant on August 4.

Boykin was apprehended by District Action Team officers in the 600 block of North Glover Street. He was then transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
