Police Investigating Shooting in Lincoln

Lincoln, DE — Delaware State Police detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Issacs Road near Lincoln on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place on August 28 at approximately 11:41 a.m. when troopers were dispatched following a report of a road rage altercation. According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was driving northbound on Issacs Road when a confrontation with the driver of an unknown pickup truck escalated. The driver of the truck fired a shot at the victim before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, the victim was unharmed.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Detective H. Lingo at 302-752-3864.
