18-Year-Old Woman Reportedly Abducted in Smithtown, Police Alert Issued

Smithtown, NY – An alert has been issued for an abducted vulnerable adult following the disappearance of 18-year-old Vianna Dettling from Smithtown.

The New York State Police, at the request of the Suffolk County Police Department 4th Precinct, issued the alert on Thursday evening. Dettling was last seen in the area of Lilac Lane in Smithtown at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Authorities believe she has been abducted and is in danger.

Dettling was last seen wearing a multi-colored t-shirt and black pants. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Suffolk County Police at 631-854-8415 or 631-854-8417.
