Man Arrested for Public Intoxication in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA- A public intoxication incident occurred on Wednesday at 3:52 PM, according to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department. Officers responded to reports of an intoxicated man at the intersection of South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and East Northampton Street.

Police identified the individual as Santiago Cardona Nava, aged 42, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, officers observed that Nava was heavily under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Nava was determined to be a danger to himself due to his intoxicated state. Authorities took him into custody and issued a citation for public intoxication.
