by Breaking Local News Report

Boston, MA- On Thursday at approximately 5:50 PM, officers from District B-2 in Roxbury arrested O’Keif Mark, 22, of Waltham, for receiving stolen property.

During patrol near Warren Street, officers conducted an inquiry on a vehicle linked to a Brookline incident. They initiated a traffic stop using emergency lights and sirens.

The vehicle’s operator initially refused to lower his window and locked the doors but eventually complied. Officers later asked the operator to exit the vehicle, leading to his temporary non-compliance and an attempt to leave, resulting in a struggle and arrest.

Officers discovered three envelopes with checks bearing multiple names, a Glock-style BB gun, HEET water remover, and brake fluid in the vehicle. A total of 236 fraudulent checks valued at $389,808 were also seized. Mark faces charges of Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200 and Threats to Commit a Crime, with arraignment expected in Roxbury District Court.
