BALTIMORE, Md. — A woman is in critical condition after being found with gunshot wounds in Baltimore’s Western District on Sunday night, sparking an investigation by local detectives.
The incident occurred Sunday night, at approximately 9:10 p.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult female victim, unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the woman to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment as investigators began canvassing the area for clues.
