Brick Township police honor guard presents colors at New Jersey Devils game

Local police officers brought their community spirit to the ice, kicking off the evening with a display of patriotism.

NEWARK, N.J. — The Brick Township Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors during the National Anthem at the New Jersey Devils game Thursday night at the Prudential Center.

The event, highlighted on the department’s social media accounts, marked a significant moment of pride for the officers and their community.

“It was a proud moment for our department to represent our community and pay tribute to our nation as we celebrated this exciting event,” the department shared in a statement online.

The Honor Guard’s participation came at the invitation of the Devils organization, which regularly features local law enforcement and military groups to perform this ceremonial role.

The Devils went on to host their home game as fans and officials celebrated the contributions of local heroes.
