JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Mayor and Township Council are calling on residents to step forward and serve their community by volunteering for one of Jackson Township’s advisory boards or commissions. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a Citizen Leadership Form by December 20, 2024.

The Citizen Leadership Form can be accessed on the township’s official website under the “Forms, Licenses and Permits” section. Applicants are asked to complete the form fully and attach a resume, if available. For questions about the boards and commissions, residents can contact the Mayor’s office at 732-928-1200 ext. 1211 or email [email protected].

The township is seeking volunteers for a variety of groups, including the Veterans Commission, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Environmental Commission, Historical Commission, Multicultural Committee, and others. These boards offer residents an opportunity to contribute to key issues such as economic development, environmental preservation, and community services.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to engage with the community and help shape the future of Jackson Township,” the Mayor’s office stated in its announcement.
