Teen stabbed in Brooklyn street attack; suspect flees on foot

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are searching for a man who stabbed a 17-year-old boy in broad daylight on a Williamsburg street earlier this month, authorities said.

The attack occurred on Friday, November 1, at approximately 4 p.m., near 245 North 8th Street. According to the NYPD, the suspect approached the teenager, displayed a knife, and stabbed him in the left thigh before fleeing westbound on North 8th Street toward Roebling Street.

The victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was treated and listed in stable condition, officials said.

Police have described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black Nike mask, a black and gray sweatsuit, and black socks.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to contact authorities as they work to identify the individual responsible.
