BROOKLYN — A 17-year-old was robbed at knifepoint on a northbound Q train Saturday afternoon, according to police reports.

The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. as the train approached the Sheepshead Bay station. Police said an unidentified individual confronted the teenager, displayed a knife, and demanded his phone, which the victim handed over.

When the victim exited the train, the assailant followed him, again brandishing a knife and demanding additional items. The individual took the teenager’s sweater and bag before fleeing the station on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, police said.

Authorities described the suspect as a male with a medium complexion and braids. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and a black-and-white bandana.
