OWINGS MILLS, MD — A Baltimore County couple is celebrating a $2 million top prize after purchasing a winning ticket in the Maryland Lottery’s $30 MONOPOLY™ X200 scratch-off game.

The wife, who is the primary Lottery player, bought the ticket at the Royal Farms store located at 9740 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills. Her previous wins ranged from $5 to $1,000, but this life-changing prize marks her largest win yet. The couple is now considering using the winnings to purchase a new home while continuing to enjoy playing Lottery games.

The MONOPOLY X200 scratch-off, which launched in November, offers four top prizes of $2 million, and this is the first of the four to be claimed. The Royal Farms store will receive a $2,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

In addition to the remaining three $2 million prizes, the game features five $50,000 second-tier prizes and other prizes ranging from $30 to $10,000. Non-winning tickets can also be entered into the MONOPOLY Second-Chance Promotion for the chance to win rolling cash jackpots and other prizes.

The Maryland Lottery reminds players to check their tickets and visit mdlottery.com/monopoly for details on remaining prizes and promotions.
