A Freehold woman was arrested Thursday evening in Ocean Township after police responded to reports of a person entering several unlocked vehicles, according to the Township of Ocean Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Allen Avenue around 6:41 p.m. on May 1 after receiving reports of suspicious activity involving a female suspect entering parked vehicles in the area. Witnesses provided officers with a detailed description and informed them the suspect had entered a nearby apartment.
While officers conducted their investigation on scene, the suspect exited the apartment and attempted to drive away. She was identified as 42-year-old Shadi Khorram and was taken into custody by Officer Domenick Fanelli.
Police say Khorram was found in possession of multiple stolen credit cards, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. She was subsequently charged with motor vehicle burglary, criminal attempt, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Khorram was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons pending her initial court appearance.
Investigators seek additional potential victims in Allen Avenue area
Detectives Michael Legg and Zachary Rhein, along with Officers Kyle Kane, Hoover Cano III, and Sergeant Christopher Brady, assisted in the arrest and investigation.

Authorities did not disclose the specific type or quantity of narcotics recovered during the arrest.
