Search continues for missing Newark girl, 13, last seen near 6th Avenue West

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in finding 13-year-old Khloe Younger, who was reported missing on Wednesday after disappearing from the 300 block of 6th Avenue West.

Khloe, a frequent runaway, was last seen in the West Ward and is believed to possibly be in the area of Clinton Avenue and Seymour Avenue. Authorities say she is in good physical and mental condition. She is described as 5-foot-3 and 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The Newark Department of Public Safety announced the case Wednesday in a statement from Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. Police have not disclosed what clothing she was wearing at the time of her disappearance or if there are any known associates she might be staying with.

“The Newark Police Division is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Khloe Younger,” the department said in a public advisory shared through official channels. The case remains under investigation by city detectives.

Anyone with information is urged to call the 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Officials say all tips are confidential and may lead to a reward.
