MANCHESTER, N.J. — The Ocean County Board of Commissioners has introduced Ordinance #2025-17, authorizing the replacement of the Commonwealth Bridge in Manchester Township at a total cost of $3,250,000.

The ordinance allocates funding for the project, including $1,695,619 in bonds or bond anticipation notes to be issued by the County of Ocean to help finance the work. The bridge, officially designated as Structure No. 1518-001, is slated for full replacement due to infrastructure needs.

Funding mix to cover full cost of project
