Homicide detectives probe deadly shooting in West Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – Police have launched a homicide investigation after a 25-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a home in West Baltimore late Wednesday night.

At about 10:13 p.m. on September 3, Western District patrol officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Edmondson Avenue following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers discovered Davion Hodges suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Medics were called to the scene but pronounced Hodges dead inside the home.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.
