PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — A single-vehicle crash on Surratts Road Friday night claimed the life of 33-year-old Ezequiel Maza Espadas, police confirmed.
The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. in the 9800 block of Surratts Road, where investigators say Maza Espadas lost control of his car and crashed into a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male passenger in the vehicle was unharmed, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are asking anyone with information to call 301-731-4422.
