$500K jackpot ticket sold in Lancaster County

$500,000 winning Cash 5 ticket sold at Turkey Hill in Lancaster County

MOUNTVILLE, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth half a million dollars after matching all five numbers in the January 20 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing — and the winning ticket was sold at a Turkey Hill in Lancaster County.

The ticket matched the winning numbers — 3, 4, 16, 19, and 25 — to win the $500,000 jackpot, before taxes. It was purchased at the Turkey Hill store located at 320 East Main Street in Mountville Borough. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Pennsylvania Lottery says winners are not publicly identified until they come forward and their tickets are validated. The jackpot must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Quick Cash prizes must also be claimed within one year of the purchase date.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 12,600 other tickets won smaller prizes in Tuesday’s drawing. Players are reminded to check their tickets carefully and to claim lower-tier prizes at any Lottery retailer.

Anyone in possession of the winning ticket is advised to contact a Pennsylvania Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for next steps.
