Suspect Arrested in February Armed Robbery at Earthbound Store

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on February 6 at the Earthbound store located at 2700 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge. The robbery investigation, which spanned several months, concluded with the identification and arrest of an 18-year-old male from Woodbridge, who was a juvenile at the time of the incident.

The arrest occurred on May 24 without incident, following the issuance of a detention order. The suspect is now charged with robbery, though his court date is pending and bond information is currently unavailable.

The initial incident took place inside the Earthbound store where the victim, a 17-year-old male, was with two acquaintances. They were approached by the suspect, who implied he had a weapon and demanded the victim’s clothing. The suspect then fled the scene with the stolen items. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery.

Police efforts to locate the suspect immediately after the incident were initially unsuccessful. The suspect at the time was described as a thin male, last seen wearing a black mask, a black jacket, and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
