This fortunate turn of events unfolded when he bought a $10 quick-pick ticket at Starting Gate Liquors located at 3495 Laurel Fort Meade Road.
Initially thinking he had won just $50, he was stunned to learn from the store clerk that his ticket was worth much more and had to be processed at the Lottery headquarters.
