Man Found Dead After Early Morning Shooting in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police in D.C. are investigating a fatal shooting in Northeast that happened early this morning. Just before 3:25 a.m. officers arrived at the 4400 block of Hunt Place to investigate a report of a shooting.

Police discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene but later died. No information about a person of interest in the homicide has been released.

The identities of the victim and another individual involved have not been disclosed, including their names, ages, and places of residence. The investigation is ongoing.
