Jersey Girls Have High Standards When It Comes to Dating, Survey Says

by Breaking Local News Report

NEWARK, NJ – A recent survey conducted by DatingNews.com has highlighted that single women in New Jersey exhibit ‘above average’ dating standards compared to other states. The survey, which included 3,000 single women aged 18 to 35, aimed to gauge dating preferences and standards across the United States.

The findings suggest that a significant portion of New Jersey women prioritize financial stability and physical attractiveness in potential partners. Specifically, 19% of respondents from New Jersey stated they would only consider dating men with substantial incomes and appealing looks. This contrasts with the national average where only 17% of women hold similar standards.

New York topped the list with 41% of women demanding both high earnings and good looks in potential partners, while Alaska represented the more inclusive end of the spectrum with only 5% of women having such criteria. Despite these high expectations in certain states, the survey reveals that the majority of women across the country have more attainable expectations in a partner.

Interestingly, 86% of respondents were open to dating men who rent their homes, and 80% would consider a partner without a college degree. However, only 59% of women would date someone without a car, and 64% would not date someone living with their parents.
