Stolen Shih Tzu Sparks Citywide Search in D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — Local authorities have launched an urgent search for a two-year-old male Shih Tzu named Theo, stolen during a vehicle break-in last Saturday.

The incident occurred at around 12:58 p.m. in the 1900 block of M Street, Southeast, where the dog’s owner had briefly left him and her purse in her vehicle.

Upon returning, she discovered both Theo and her purse missing. The missing dog is described as wearing a green collar with a bone-shaped tag.

D.C. Metro Police Department urges anyone with information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or send a text tip to 50411. They are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
