Washington, D.C. — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a business on Benning Road NE, following a swift response by law enforcement.
The incident occurred in the early hours of August 24, when the suspect forcibly entered a business in the 1500 block of Benning Road, Northeast. Once inside, the suspect attempted to steal property before fleeing the scene.
Officers quickly canvassed the area and apprehended the suspect. Following an investigation, 21-year-old Nikisher Alexander of Northeast D.C. was charged with Burglary Two.
