Stafford, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous incidents affecting the local area, with reports of assault, larceny, and a weapon offense occurring on Tuesday, October 8.

At Brooke Point High School, located at 1700 Courthouse Road, an altercation took place at 7:00 a.m. Two students engaged in a fight in the school’s boy’s bathroom. Deputy D.J. Taylor, participating in his School Resource Officer duties, received a report of the fight and filed criminal complaints against both students involved for assault and battery.

Later in the morning, at 8:57 a.m., Deputy S.M. Craig was dispatched to Courage Lane regarding an assault incident. A female suspect reportedly attacked a victim after a previous eviction-related disagreement. The suspect was detained without incident, charged with assault and battery, and taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail, where she was held without bond.

In a separate case of criminal activity, Deputy A.E. Epps responded to a larceny report on Oak Drive at 11:28 a.m.
