TOMS RIVER, NJ — Jesus Juarez Salmoran, a 35-year-old Hispanic male, is currently incarcerated in Ocean County following his arrest on December 23. He faces charges of hindering his own prosecution and failing to stop at a stop sign, according to jail records.

Salmoran, listed as single with a grade school education, was booked under commitment number 15-233007 and is being held on a $7,000 cash bond. Court records indicate that one charge, under case number “s20040002381526,” pertains to hindering prosecution in violation of statute 2C:29-3B(1), classified as a third-degree criminal offense. Additionally, Salmoran was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, a motor vehicle violation under code 39:4-144.

Records also show a detainer issued by U.S. Immigration authorities, further complicating his legal situation.

Salmoran’s projected release date has not been determined and remains subject to change.
