Baltimore teen with long rap sheet busted in back-to-back store break-ins

BALTIMORE, MD — A 17-year-old male was arrested Wednesday for allegedly breaking into two businesses on Annapolis Road earlier this week, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

The incidents occurred in the early morning hours of June 2, between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road in the city’s Southern District. Investigators determined the juvenile was involved in both commercial burglaries based on evidence gathered during the investigation.

On Wednesday, officers located the teen in the 6800 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and took him into custody. He was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center, where he was formally charged.

Police say the suspect is already known to law enforcement for a series of previous offenses, including armed robbery, stolen auto cases, commercial robberies, and a handgun violation.

Charges filed as police link teen to multiple prior crimes

Authorities did not release the suspect’s name due to his age. The investigation remains active as police continue to review surveillance and pursue any possible co-conspirators.

Anyone with additional information about these incidents is asked to call (410) 396-2499 or submit tips anonymously to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
