The Kids’ Bodyboarding Camps, held on Ortley Beach, are open to children ages 6 to 12 who already know how to swim. Two sessions are offered: June 30 to July 3 and August 18 to August 21. Camps run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a rain date scheduled for the Friday of each camp week.

Registration costs $260 per person per session and includes all necessary equipment. Participants are encouraged to dress for the beach and bring towels, sunscreen, snacks, and drinks.

Residents can register through Community Pass by visiting the Toms River Recreation page at www.tomsrivertownship.com/211/Recreation.

Toms River’s summer camps offer local kids the chance to build ocean skills while enjoying beachside fun.
