PHILADELPHIA — A man was critically injured in a shooting late Saturday night on the 1200 block of West Huntingdon Street, Philadelphia police said.
Officers from the 22nd District responded to the scene at approximately 11:13 p.m. on June 14 after receiving a report of a “person with a gun, male shot on the highway.”
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Police immediately transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, and no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. The motive remains unknown, and no suspects have been identified at this stage of the investigation.
The scene was secured and is being held for further examination by the department’s Shooting Investigation Group (SIG).
