60-year-old shot in arm during late-night stroll in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 60-year-old man was treated for a graze wound to the arm early Saturday after being struck by gunfire while walking in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Officers responded around 1:32 a.m. to an area hospital after the victim arrived on his own seeking treatment.

The man told police he had been walking in the 4800 block of Belle Avenue when he suddenly felt something strike his arm. He then drove himself to the hospital.

He was listed in stable condition.

Northwest District Shooting detectives are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2466 or submit a tip anonymously via Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
