Chevy Chase, MD – A Bonus Match 5 player in Chevy Chase won $50,000 in Tuesday’s drawing after purchasing a lucky ticket at Friendship Gourmet Market on Friendship Boulevard, lottery officials announced.

The drawing, held on Sept. 9, featured the winning numbers 3, 6, 9, 18, and 27—all divisible by 3. The Bonus Ball was 25. The Chevy Chase winner was one of three across Maryland to hit the top prize that night.

The other winning tickets were sold in Glen Burnie and Bladensburg. This trio of winners boosts the number of Bonus Match 5 top-prize recipients this year to 32.

To win the $50,000, a ticket must match all five of the main numbers drawn. Bonus Match 5 drawings occur nightly, giving players frequent opportunities to score high-tier prizes.

Winners must claim prizes over $25,000 through the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. Claimants have 182 days from the drawing date and must schedule an appointment for in-person claims.
