Three suspects sought in deadly Indian Head Highway shooting that killed 25-year-old man

New Carrollton, MD – Police in Prince George’s County are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects captured in surveillance video after a broad daylight shooting left one man dead and two others injured last month.

The fatal incident happened on August 20 at around 2:05 p.m. in the 4900 block of Indian Head Highway. Officers responding to a shooting call found 25-year-old Nathaniel Stephon Grier of New Carrollton suffering from a gunshot wound outside. He died at the scene.

A teenager was also shot during the same incident but survived with injuries that were not life-threatening. A third victim, an adult man, sustained minor injuries.

Detectives from the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit are working to determine a motive in the case. Investigators released newly obtained surveillance video showing three individuals walking in the area at the time of the shooting. Those individuals are now wanted in connection with the ongoing homicide investigation.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for Grier’s death.
