ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. – Officers with the Robbinsville Township Police Department gathered Saturday to support the America’s 9/11 Remembrance Ride as participants passed through the Mercer County community.
The annual ride pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks while recognizing the courage and sacrifice of first responders, military members, victims’ families and communities across the country. Robbinsville officers greeted riders as they traveled through the township.
Honoring those lost on September 11
In a statement shared on social media, the department said patrol officers were “honored to show our support to the America’s 9/11 Remembrance Ride” as it made its way through Robbinsville.
“This ride serves as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice and unity that followed September 11, 2001,” the department said. “We proudly stand with their riders, first responders, families and communities who continue to keep the memory of those lost alive.”

The department wished participants safe travels as they continued their journey from town to town, joining communities across the region that have welcomed the remembrance ride.
