TOWSON, MD – Police are searching for 13-year-old Abrielle McCoy, who was last seen Tuesday afternoon in the Towson area.

Officials say Abrielle may be suffering a mental health crisis and could need immediate assistance.

She was reported missing after being seen around 4:30 p.m. wearing an orange, blue, and white coat, a blue hoodie, and jeans.

Police issue critical missing alert

The Baltimore County Police Department released the alert just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, describing Abrielle as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 107 pounds. Officers have labeled the case as “critical missing,” citing concerns for her wellbeing.

Search efforts expand across Towson

Investigators have been canvassing neighborhoods, schools, and shopping centers in the Towson area since Tuesday night. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and following up on multiple leads as volunteers and patrol units continue the search.
