TRENTON-New Jersey Democrats reeling from the defection of Congressman Jeff Van Drew, one of just two congressional Democrats to vote against the impeachment of President Trump have already announced their candidate for Congress in 2020. Harrison now faces an uphill battle as she represents the party that impeached President Trump.

South Jersey – Steve Sweeney, the President of the New Jersey Senate, was joined by six South Jersey Democratic county leaders in announcing their support for Brigid Callahan Harrison as the Democratic candidate for New Jersey’s 2^ndCongressional District.
