Elderly man struck by car in Utica remains hospitalized in serious condition
Utica, NY — A Friday night crash involving a pedestrian has left an elderly man hospitalized in serious condition after he was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Armory Drive and the Parkway.
Utica Police and Fire units responded to the scene around 8:50 p.m. and found the victim suffering from visible injuries. He was immediately transported to Wynn Hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition, according to authorities.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and fully cooperated with officers during the initial response. No charges have been filed at this time.
