Man walks into precinct with gunshot wounds after Essex shooting
Essex, MD – A man walked into a Baltimore County police station Sunday night with multiple gunshot wounds, moments after officers responded to reports of gunfire near Sandalwood Road and Moline Circle.
The incident unfolded just before 10 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the 21221 area following calls about shots fired. While they found evidence consistent with a shooting at the scene, no victims or suspects were present.
Shortly after, an adult male arrived at the Essex Police Precinct suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid until medics arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital for further treatment. His condition has not been released.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. It remains unclear where the shooting occurred or what may have led to the violence.
