Severn man with gun wrecks car in Hanover getaway

Hanover, MD – A Severn man was arrested after fleeing police and crashing twice, leading officers to find a loaded handgun beside his seat, according to authorities.

Western District officers responded around 11:25 p.m. on November 28 to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle for a report of a driver unresponsive behind the wheel. When officers approached, the driver suddenly sped off.

The vehicle was soon involved in a second crash, disabling both vehicles. Officers detained the driver, who showed signs of alcohol impairment. A loaded 9mm Glock handgun was recovered next to the driver’s seat.

The suspect, Kameron Christopher Randall, 24, of Severn, is prohibited from possessing firearms. He was arrested and charged.
