Man shot in leg on East North Avenue as Eastern District detectives investigate

Baltimore, MD — A man was hospitalized Sunday morning after being shot in the leg on East North Avenue, prompting an investigation by Eastern District Shooting detectives.

At approximately 10:31 a.m. on December 7, officers responded to the 2200 block of East North Avenue for a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition. Police have not released any information regarding suspects or a possible motive.
