PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A 23-year-old man died after being shot Tuesday evening in the city’s 25th District, authorities said. The shooting occurred around 5:03 p.m. on the 2800 block of North Franklin Street, where the victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Medics transported the man to Temple University Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at approximately 7:41 p.m.
Investigators have not yet determined a motive, and no arrests have been made. The case is being investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
