Bronx, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred last summer in the South Bronx. The shooting took place on the evening of Monday, June 17, 2024, near East 162nd Street within the 42nd Precinct.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 9:08 p.m. and found an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
